$52 Registration Fee
$26 Returning Students
Students required to buy their own books and to give 10 volunteer hours to the program.

HISTORY
2006
Pharr Literacy Project was founded in response to the ESL and GED educational needs for the residents of the City of Pharr.
2011
Pharr Literacy Project became known in the neighboring cities, and at that time only 40% of the students were from the City of Pharr.
2013
Pharr Literacy Project officially became the Rio Grande Valley Literacy Center (RGVLC), still a non-profit 501(c) (3) organization.
2018
RGVLC became a Member of ProLiteracy, an international non-profit organization that promotes Adult Education and Literacy.
RGVLC Today
The Center offers classes in Alton, Pharr, McAllen, San Juan, Progreso, Penitas, Edinburg, Weslaco, Mercedes, and Rio Hondo.
