Introduction to Creative Writing will introduce you to the brainstorming, revision, and peer review components of creative writing. In this class, we will read and write fiction and poetry. In doing so, you will have the opportunity to sharpen your writing process through creative exercises. Through our readings, you will analyze literary elements to incorporate in your own creative work. Twice this semester, your creative work will be shared with the class for a formal workshop. In class, you will absorb other students’ ideas about your work while also providing constructive feedback
