Students in this Financial Literacy course will gain the knowledge to make sound, informed financial
decisions that will allow them to lead financially secure lives and understand personal financial
responsibility. The course will teach students to set financial goals, evaluate consumption decisions,
understand the use of credit when making purchases, and mitigate overall financial risk. The course will
provide students with a strong financial knowledge base to build upon beyond the class.
