Burlington English (BE) Blended Online Courses
Blended Instruction: half of the instruction is teacher lead (online or in person), and half is independent student learning online
Burlington Core Series
A six-level innovative blended curriculum that teaches listening, speaking, reading and writing with focus on conversation through discussions, presentations, and role play.
Generally, it takes 6 semesters to complete it. Burlington English (BE) offers this program at the low cost of $96 per student for 12 months with unlimited access 24/7. In other words, the BE license costs only $1.85 per week.
Materials needed:
A computer with internet, a microphone and a speaker (a head-set is recommended), or a tablet, or a smart phone. No books.

The courses integrate career planning and workforce readiness into Burlington Core curriculum, thereby meeting the goals of the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA).
Included: Burlington English Grammar
Targeted practice in 3 levels: Beginners, Intermediate, and Advanced.
Included: BE Digital Readers
33 abridged editions of classic literature in illustrated text and audio format
A six-level, standards-based ESL series, by Cambridge University Press, 2018
All RGVLC students can use the VENTURES digital grammar, vocabulary, reading, and listening exercises for free and without registration or log-in. There is also a Citizenship section that includes questions on civics, history, government, and the N-400 application.
